Former Bayan Muna congressman Neri Colmenares, who is in the Hague a part of the Duterte Panagutin Network, believes that while the ICC’s confirmation of charges hearing on the case of Rodrig Duterte is a “watershed” event, the Philippine government needs to do more to ensure that justice is done for victims of Duterte’s drug war and that impunity for human rights abuses end. President Marcos Jr., he says, can start by bringing the Philippines back to the fold of the ICC.
